Mrs. Krabusch referred there have been several explosions in Sud Est crater today. One at about 11:00, more and stronger around 16:00. About Bocca Nuova it seems something is preparing: crater ground is “blowing up”. Imminent eruption?

mr Ahti Heikkilä reports several micro earthquakes: “that there was earthquake 25.10. 1 km East M. Centenari, 1,2 km North East Rif. Citelli and 24.10. 2,1 km North North West V.gio Turistico Maraneve. All 1,2 – 1,3 Ml. Very small but interesting when I am following what is happening on the Etna“. He also adds: “today [October, 27th] about 08.30 there was in the seismograph little shaking and now a clock 12,03 there was coming little ash cloud on the east side (?) of the South east crater! There is also little smaller shaking so we can wait yet little more small ash cloud more?“. I got no other news, yet. Thanks to our friend Ahti Heikkilä!

‘Breaking new’. Yesterday evening there was a little eruption in Sud Est crater. No witnesses but two hotel guests. We thank mr. and mrs. Krabusch for this new. Just sand but no lava river.

Three new webcams offered b Etna Sci. One look at Etna Sud skiing station and should see also our hotel. It should, because today it’s foggy and I see nothing.
